Recipe Books

Marsha Ward writes more than just fiction. She created a mashup of nonfiction and fiction with authentic historical recipes from Colonial times on the American Continent through the Westward Migration and the settlement of the West. This volume, From Julia’s Kitchen: Owen Family Cookery, is a delightful foray into more knowledge about the Owen Family.

Marsha also collected recipes from writers for a cookbook first published in the 1980s, Rapid Recipes for Writers . . . And Other Busy People.

Books for Writers

Well known as a mentor to writers, Marsha wrote a book on how she publishes as an “Indie” (independently publishing) author, The Checklist: Indie Publishing My Way. In addition,  she created a log book for writers who need to keep track of production: My Word Count.

Several years ago, Marsha also contributed to a set of books on writing and publishing from LDS Storymakers, Writing Secrets and Publishing Secrets.

Indie Book Management series

Because Marsha needed such tools herself, she created log books for indie authors: POD Upload & Update Log (in two different covers), The BIG POD Upload & Update Log (for more prolific authors), eBook Upload & Update Log, The BIG eBook Upload & Update Log, and Book Cover Production Log, which is also handy for book cover designers.
