WestWard Books is the publisher of both fiction and nonfiction written and created by author Marsha Ward.
Marsha began writing more than thirty years ago, but her first long-form fiction was published in 2003. After she decided to publish her work independently, she established WestWard Books in 2012 as the book publishing arm of WestWard Communications, through which she had run a variety of media companies in previous years.
Marsha is known for writing well-researched authentic historical fiction set in the 19th Century, usually in the Western United States. WestWard Books has completed republishing the entire Owen Family Saga with new covers. The author continues writing new works and discovering exciting new aspects of her business.
One new enterprise for WestWard Books is launching more nonfiction, such as books for writers and other books termed “no content” and “low content” books. Recently published no content books are lined journals, which come out under the imprint of WestWard Journals. Low content books we’ve printed this year include a series of writers’ logs labeled “Indie Book Management.” Our latest low content book is a study notebook in two sizes, designed specifically for female members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The notebook is meant to assist these women in recording their thoughts during Sunday classes twice a month.
